WIP Wednesday

Been working steady on customer quilts and starting yard work. The past couple of days have been gorgeous here...love getting outside to rake and clean things up.

I am out to the borders on this custom order...Dresden Plate...or Sunflower, depending on who calls it which.

And, I am just past the center of this Hexie quilt...hand quilting it for a lady.

Last, but not least...Merrill's fifth quilt top finished today. This is from Missouri Star Co.

Not great view...lol. But the borders are white moss green and the deep emerald green, very pretty.

Weather is suppose to be great for a few days...so, hope to be outside more.

Hey everyone...its been a few weeks since I posted anything, so here we are.  I have finished hand quilting and bound the one I was working on last time.

This is called Take Five...very simple pattern.

And I have this customer quilt in the frames and just started the hand quilting on it.  Hexies.....

This has such pretty colours!!  I have the Dresden Plates put together for an order...have to applique them next.  And....I have to get one on Lily(my Coronet) right away!!!  I spent the afternoon with a couple of friends, who just bought Coronets and had so much fun bouncing ideas and info off each other.

I have to get Lily moving again, and get quilts done for this summer.  I was baby sitting last week...which meant, no quilting. 

Here are the Dresden plates...there is a stack of 20 there.

Sashing will be in navy...and, that's it for me this time around folks!! Have a great week.

Well....we are babysitting the dogs this weekend, 2 little Yorkies who think they own the place...lol

They are so easy to take care of too.        On to quilts!!!!

I finished hand quilting this customer quilt last night...now to bind it.

It has hearts quilted around the borders and on the cream rectangle blocks. The quilting softens this quilt so much..love it. This is one of the 100 club quilts,here is mine..not quilted yet.

I put the next one in the frames tonight to start hand quilting. It is a "take five"...very simple quilt.

Hey folks...finished my blue 4patch on Lily, now to bind both of them. Here they are..two UFOs finally coming to an end.  Hand quilted...

And...the machine quilted one.

The back...which is actually blue...lighting means everything...lol

A Finish!!!

Got this one done last night...this top was made by Merrill(husband) years ago...those UFOs, lol.

I have another one of them in Lily, which is almost quilted. After these, everything is new this past couple of months. Yay!!!

back...

I still like the old patchwork quilts...now to get it bound.

WIP Wednesday

Hey folks...keeping in touch with fellow quilters...linking up to http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.com/.  Last week I showed you this flimsy I had put together.

Loving it!! And this one I am almost finished hand quilting.

This week, I pieced this baby quilt to be hand quilted...

I also have a customer quilt identical to the blue one above, but smaller to hand quilt. And, I am piecing a second quilt for the same lady.  I will take pics another time for you.

I am very busy right now with orders....so, my talented husband has stepped up to help me. Here is one he just finished piecing, and is at another!

Well, folks...have a fantastic week, I have one on the Coronet being quilted too...lol. Sorry, almost forgot!! Super weather today...had a very nice walk after lunch.  See you next week.....

WIP Wednesday

Here we are another week gone by....but nicer weather!  I am staying busy with my quilting, but wanting to get out in this lovely sunshine.  Soon.....there will be lots to do outside, can't wait!

Yesterday was our sewing day get together....had a blast. We have some fun ladies to chat and laugh with.  I got some work done on my 100 club quilt, and finished the top today.  Now it goes in a pile waiting to be hand quilted.

And in the frames being hand quilted now is this older 4 patch...

I have another one of these in a different colour that I plan on loading on Lily any day now. Then I can move from room to room if bored....lol
