W.I.P Wednesday

  Another week gone....too quickly for my liking...but at least we are getting rain this week and not snow...lol.  My progress this week is small in the quilting and sewing aspect.  I have been working outside most of the time...but; I did finish the lap quilt "Rail Fence" and am close to half way on the quilting of the fan quilt..still going through closets and have to tidy up the sewing room again...it is endless in there...as you all know too well.  so; here is a pic of the finished lapquilt...and please go over tohttp://freshlypieced.blogspot.com/  and see what the rest of the world did this week..it is lots of fun.

A Beautiful Monday!!

The sun is shining; temp is up..not sure what it is; but up....lol. Wanted to share a bit of my weekend with all of you. It was spent outside....Friday I helped hubby clean the garage some more...getting ready to take the Solstice out; top down time, yaaaaaayyyy!! Saturday and Sunday I helped him clean junk; I call it; out of his barn..where he keeps the tractor...what a mess!! The price of metal has gone up, so maybe, just maybe I can get rid of all this junk...lol.  Anyway was a fun time together... in old work clothes dragging and lugging anything and everything outside and putting a little of it back...lol.  We also saw that our goldfish in the pond are waking up in the sun...it's a large pond; there are hundreds of them....and we put up a solar lighthouse on the walkway of the pond...it's kinda cute...

So; overall, a busy weekend... I am going outside now to do a bit of raking...I love it outside in the sun...ttyl.

W.I.P.Wednesday

Well it is that time again ladies.... I hope you all had a great week and lots of accomplishments. I did finish the Virginia Star quilt...and I am now quilting a 40 year old fan quilt..The lady who pieced it has passed on and here daughter is getting it done...so for the next couple of weeks that will keep me busy. I am also about ready to FMQ the Rail Fence lap quilt....these smaller items give me practice...and a break from the hand quilting....don't forget to check in with Lee over at... http://freshlypieced.blogspot.com/
