I have been raking leaves for days! Still sewing and quilting some, though.
This week; I finished the first graduation gift quilt: Have the second one in the frames to hand quilt.
I will show you these very soon.
I finished the New York Roundabout: bound and put away!
Now it isn't bound in this picture....I bound it in black...I machine quilted this in mono filament thread...that's why you can't see the quilting. Worked great; but wouldn't do it again..all that work and can't see it...lol
The back...and a corner...
I've finished machine quilting the 3rd block for 'About a Quilt QAYGQAL
I did my very first piece on the Tiara long arm......loving it!
You must be tired of looking at pictures now...lol
Besides these; I am working on pillows with my sewing buddies...
I have the'Birds' hop coming up in a week..
I am working on the 'May Flowers' piece for that hop...
I have one large applique quilt waiting to be hand quilted...
I have another large quilt to pick up to be hand quilted...
The Fishing Lodge theme is about to be started..
Another commission quilt coming in a month or two to be pieced and hand quilted...
And lots of practice to do on Tiara!!!!
Well today I get the licence on the Solstice...so I may be gone for a good part of the day!!!!!
Busy Busy Busy!Everything is looking great and now it will be competition between Tiara and Solstice.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is looking great, Marjorie! Wonderful projects!
ReplyDeleteHi Marjorie! Wow...you do great work! LOVE that NY Roundabout! Never saw a quilt like that before. You are right about not seeing the quilting, but you can on the back. Very nice meandering! Your quilt projects are many, but looks like you have the ability to get them all done! Keep up the good work. I know whoever receives your graduation gifts will love them! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI really like that NY Beauty blocks piece.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you and the new machine are getting along well with each other. I can't wait to see all of the beautiful work you are going to be doing in no time at all with it.
Nice job on your New York Roundabout. Your quilting is lovely.
