I now have 48 pints of beans frozen, and today I froze 20 pints of peas...which took much more work than the beans did. And I have 20 pints of beets pickled. Our garden is fantastic again this year.
Ok....enough about my tired limbs...lol
Right now I am working on hand quilting a customer quilt...
I am halfway through it...
A couple of close ups...
It's really a beautiful quilt, but hard to see in these pics. I'll show it again when finished.
I am piecing another gray and yellow quilt like the last customer quilt I made here....
I just liked it so much...I have 2 customers quilts waiting to be hand quilted, and a few more people thinking about orders. So, I could be very busy...fingers crossed...lol.

I am really liking the yellow and grey, and I don't usually like that combination. You have perfectly chosen your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI really miss the vegetable garden . . . not.
ReplyDeleteI had to give it up when we took over the farm because there was just too much to do.
But we have access to lots of fresh local vegetables so we will not starve.
you have certainly been rewarded for all your hard work in the garden and will have plenty of veg through the winter. The quilts look good, yellow and grey work so well together.
ReplyDeleteWow, hand quilting...I really do admire that. Make sure you show some close ups.
ReplyDeleteI just love the gray and yellow. It is amazing how much of your time a garden consumes.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are making another yellow and grey quilt. It was so pretty. Cooking my vegetables. They did well in the hot car. Glad you got your peas done. The shells were really full. Should taste good for supper. Very hot here. No energy for the sewing corner today. Barry got good news yesterday. Insurance is paying for the machine he needs. 100%. Nice. Might be able to get a good night's slept again.
