Here we are again...and I have a few pics for you. This week I am working on a new quilt top, called A Slice of Sun.
Here is the pattern...
Here are the blocks I have so far...four of these.

These blades will be appliquéd on to four black squares for corner blocks. Then to make the centre block. It's an enjoyable project so far.
In about three weeks myself and sewing buddies will be starting a Giant Dahlia quilt top. I've made a lot of these in the past, but got tired of it and stopped. Time to try one again.
I have Girls Night Out pinned and ready to machine quilt.
That is going to be an amazing quilt. I love the colors.

ReplyDeleteI like the idea of a group working on a Giant Dahlia. I thought about making one for years but was too intimidated by all those curved seams.
ReplyDeleteWhat a striking block. Sorry, can't help you with fabric shops in Baltimore, but we really enjoyed the science centre when we were there.
