Put a Little Love in Your Quilt!!!!

I am really excited about this blog hop, because it has been ages since I joined one.  I hope you all join us in the fun projects being brought to you this week.  I want to thank Carol from http://www.justletmequilt.com/ for hosting this one...I hope she does it again and again.

I enjoy being on the first day..that way I am less apt to forget...lol. My project this time around is a little one, a cushion cover. I can't remember exactly where I saw this, but on line somewhere...someone had a piece similar and I thought it was soooo cute. Thank you to the person who posted it.
Here is my garden of hearts...
Isn't it just the cutest thing???  I made the hearts with my Go Baby and fused them on the fabric...appliquéd with a blanket stitch...added colourful ric rac for some fun! I machine quilted the background on Lily, my Coronet.

Now, I know I said I had one little project...but, I saw this on the Accuquilt site(similar) and couldn't resist.
This is done with the Go Baby for the heart leaves and hearts...and my husband drew the owls.  Gotta love him!! I stippled the background fairly densely to make the pieces pop.  The border has a heart and loop vine. Here is another pic...maybe you can see the border better.
This was so much fun to make, and I just love it!!!!!  Now......hope you are still here, because I have a nice giveaway for you.  I will draw randomly at the end of the blog hop for a $30. WIP Wednesday

Hello folks....here we are mid week again, time files by way too quickly!  Today, I spent the afternoon with a friend having lots of laughs at ourselves!!  It was so much fun...

I came home, made supper and finished hand quilting this customer quilt.
Lovely piecing and colours in this queen size quilt. Tomorrow, another one goes in the frames.
I did quilt a baby quilt on Lily yesterday, but haven't taken a pic yet...maybe tomorrow.  We have one more month for blocks to finish our 100 club quilt....can't wait to show it to you!

Well, that is it for me this week...you know I have a pile of quilts waiting to be quilted one way or another....right?  Have a good one....

Ok.....I got the baby quilt bound after I posted and here is a pic.

Trying to get back into sewing after Christmas, but not motivated much.  I do have this one half hand quilted though...
A customer quilt...she did a very nice job piecing this...love the colours!  I have a piece ready for the blog hop coming up next month.  Don't forget to join us...
I have lots of quilts to pin baste for Lily, so, I guess I need to get to it, eh.  Have a great week folks.

Starting the New Year Right

I got Christmas all put away...and a quilt in to hand quilt. I have missed this so much over Christmas.
This was taken with my phone, which isn't taking clear pics lately.  It is really nice bright royal blue with white and soft yellow. Was so nice to do a little quilting yesterday...back into the groove!
I have this one on Lily..only small so will finish it today.
Been walking in the woods every day...cold, but so nice in the woods.
