Hi folks…it has been ages since I’ve wrote a post. Things have changed quite a bit here lately. As you all know, I’ve been quilting for about 40 years…for myself and others. My husband had helped me a few times by piecing quilt tops for me.
Now my husband has retired..two years now. The first year, he stayed busy working around our property and gardening with me. This winter, he decided to piece quilt tops again.
He does a great job, and has been piling them up…lol. I’ll get them quilted eventually.
He even bought himself a lovely Juki machine and loves it(speedy) lol.
Well, 3 weeks ago, he had a heart attack…he’s ok though. It was a major heart attack, but, a good team worked with him and got him everything he needed. He is here with me and healing wonderfully. In no time he’ll be back to a pretty good normal. It’s hard to hold him down!
I am doing the same as always, quilting up a storm, waiting for spring weather so we can be outside. In the meantime, I wanted to start blogging again with the new us! Ooooh!! And we have our first great grand child…a little girl. She is the first girl for us…love this little one! Paisley Elizabeth Henwood is an adorable little person…3 months old now.
Well, I will post a few pics if I can manage to post them, to show you what hubby has been doing.
Thanks for listening folks.
Marjorie
