Moving Right along

Good morning everyone...We had a little snow over the weekend, but is gone now. I am getting things caught up here and wanted to show you updates.

I have a pic of the quilted Double Wedding Ring for you, hand quilting metro rings, two t shirt quilts( one quilted, one on the machine), and the beginning of a Giant Dahlia( cutting things out).

There we go...and now, I am working on cleaning up the sewing room, and getting a raffle quilt ready

for our 50th Annual Quilt Show in 2026.

goes too quickly

Hello folks...it is a cloudy day here, but, a good day for sewing.  I am in the process of making a couple of

t shirt quilts that are ordered.  They are very simple and easy to get through. Besides this, I am starting to hand quilt a Metro Rings quilt that I pieced with a few friends a few months back.  I planned on machine quilting it, but after the large Wedding Ring I just did, I wanted to hand quilt.  I also just finished machine quilting a cross stitch quilt for a customer.

Very soon I can show you the playboy bunny quilt i custom made.  It was a very busy summer here this year.  I had a great year with my quilts, and hubby stayed busy picking and selling fresh veggies from our two large gardens.  I work in the garden with him also, but he is out there so much, there are no weeds to pull...lol.

I will get some pics to show you soon...in the meantime, how about my little girls?

This is Paisley and Soleil(Sonny)...our great grand daughters.  They light up our lives!

Here it is...I have a bit of a time with the new laptop sometimes.  I actually think it is more our poor

Mid October...really??? Amazing weather

Hello folks, nice to get a chance to post.  It was one busy summer here...we grow two large gardens

and sell fresh veggies.  Plus, I am still running my quilt shop ( which was great this year).

How are all of you?  I am anxious to get back into more regular blogging!  Right now, I am waiting for

hubby to come in from fishing to have supper.  I am still busy quilting; of course, and starting on more

custom orders.  I have a large Double Wedding Ring ready to machine quilt, and started piecing an order

for a Playboy Bunny Quilt.  Yes.....fun!!!

Again, I have got ahead of myself, and posted before loading pictures on this laptop,,,grrrr

I will have to come back later and add pics.

Got to run though and check on supper and round pics up.  Happy Quilting!!

Raining Cats and Dogs

Hey folks...a dull day here in New Brunswick, Canada.  How are you all?  Visited our great grand daughters today(always a treat) and of course our quilt shop!   I have my shop open now and we are 

planning our 49th annual quilt show and sale.  I have posters which I will post here very soon.  Other  than that, I'm  sewing and quilting.

I finished my Crimson quilt by Krista Moser....love, love it!  I have to upload pics so I can show you.

A Gorgeous Day

We are are still getting a little messy wet snow here, but days are improving.  I am staying busy quilting 

and getting the shop ready to open for the summer.  Our 49th Annual quilt show and sale is July 17-19,

hoping for a good turnout again this year.  For all of my blogging friends...if you are travelling, would love to see you.

On to what I am up to...well, lately, I've pieced and quilted a few more things for the shop that I can show you.

Hello everyone...a beautiful day here in New Brunswick.  Still plenty cool, but getting there! How are you all?

I am plugging away at quilts...getting ready for shop opening.  I love this life, don't you all?

Got a Few Pics

A nicer day here today folks...sunny and just below 0 celcius.  I'm getting a cold(grrrrr) but plugging along.

A custom order for a young lady....Dresden  Plate...Hand quilted.

I hand quilted this one...not my quilt top, and don't know the name.

Lately, I'm just quilting up some small items that have been sitting around...

like table runners and placemats...getting them out of the way. Will soon get

back to large quilts on the longarm.  I have an applique Butterfly being 

 hand quilted.  Nice being  back...hope to hear more from folks, and I'll get 

around to visiting more blogs very soon!!

It is sunny but cold here today…I am keeping busy though.  I just took one off of Lily, have a Dresden plate being hand quilted and I am also doing some piecing.

A Cloudy but Productive Day

Hello everyone...I keep saying that I am getting back to my blog posts, but I am finding it so difficult.

Over time...aging...and all the other things that have gone on, I am striving, but not getting too far.

I am still doing the exact same things, as far as quilting, but...family has grown, and blogging has changed.so very much.  I cant seem to reach the people I did before...and I find it difficult to write a post.

I was so used to the QALs and Giveaways....that was the enjoyment for me.  I am the one who left because of being busy and losing interest, and now...it isn't the same. But, making the effort.

What are the rest of you doing to get past this?  I really miss sitting with tea in the morning and going

through blog posts.  I am going to try harder!!

In the meantime, here are a few of my latest projects.

This is one I made for my grand daughter and her husband for Christmas.  They are both

RCMP.  

This is Grandmother's Flower Garden...done with the Diamond Ruler designed by Krista Moser

for Creative Grids.  Very easy to make, but don't think I would enjoy making it bigger than a baby

size because it is all one shape and gets a bit tedious...but easy peasy.  Thanks Krista!

Now for my little girls....love them so very much!  My two great grand daughters.

Paisley is 2 years old...and

                                                             Soliel(Sonny) is 3 months old.

                                                        

  They bring joy to our hearts everyday.  I just finished quilting a large quilt on Lily a few minutes ago.

   I will send pics to the laptop later and show you later. I am also hand quilting for a client...pics another

   day.

December already!!!

Good afternoon folks...a cool but clear day here.  I'm still getting used to new software and my slow

internet, but persevering,  I do have a few quilts that I've completed lately to show you.

I must say....I still cant get enough quilting, love it!

When I say group quilt above...it is a quilt that I take part in every year with my favorite 

quilt shop.  There are around 150 people who make this same quilt and every year we make a

different pattern.  Always fun to participate with this group.

Sunny, but cold day

Good afternoon folks...I am having a real experience trying to get a new laptop working for me.

I think it's more of an internet issue to be true.  Anyway...how are you all?  I am busy as always,

with sewing, quilting, and visiting our new baby girl.  The joys are endless...so blessed.

On to quilting though...Jenny Pedigo, if you're still around here dear, I have finally got to try my

quick curve ruler out!  I have had your metro rings pattern for years, and just got around to this.

There are 6 of us girls getting together once a week to make this quilt.  We are having a real blast...

4 have never done curves at all...doing fantastic though. Your pattern and ruler is a big help.

                                                    

Ok, here goes the new computer again...cant reach my pics for some stupid reason.  I'll try to update

A Few Things To Share

Hi everyone! It is Sunday afternoon and I am sipping a cup of tea while posting.  its a sunny, but cool day here in NB, Canada.  First up is our new great grand daughter, Soleil(Sonny)...born on Oct.13/24.

Now we have a few quilts to show you...one custom order and a few gifts.  The first is Blueberry Basket

and is the order.  

Next is my owl quilt, and a Halle Rose quilt...gifts.

Being Back

I soooooo missed everyone!!!  I wanted to get back into sharing and doing QALs, but, I'm seeing that everyone is the same as me right now.  How did this happen???? I'm retired and too busy to visit and 

chat???  Something is wrong with that....please, let me know if we can possibly get back to the way

things were when I was a very active blogger.

I have a beautiful great granddaughter now, almost 2 years old, and another due on the 11th of Oct.

I am so blessed, but I've been missing my sewing buddies here.

Still Tryin To Catch Up

Hello folks...I am finding it hard to get back in here sometimes.  I guess my tools are a bit outdated.

I've had to get creative with hubby's laptop instead of my iPad. So...here I am, again and will show you

a few  things I've been up to.  Then I hope to get around to visit your blogs...

 

This is one I custom made for a friends daughters wedding this summer.

This I made for our second great grand daughter arriving in Oct.

This belongs to a client, who paper pieced the quilt ad I hand quilted it.

I am having trouble finding my pics on this lap top right now...so, i will

Fishing Day

Hey folks…it is a lovely sunny mid day here.

Did all that housework stuff this morning…

Going Bass fishing in about an hour.  My first time going out with hubby and another couple.

We just have a ten minute walk from our back yard, set up at the bay and see what happens🤔

Garden

Well, we have had a fantastic summer, garden has done very well for us. I’ve got our winters veggies done up and pickles done.  Time to get back to the sewing!!!

Hello folks…I’ve been absent for too long.  I miss all of you.  It is a hot Sunday afternoon here in NB, Canada…and I want to get back to blogging.  I am presently working on a client quilt…this is the Center block …pics to follow.

I have been very busy gardening and selling fresh veggies. My husband loves keeping busy…so I have to also…lol.
