W.I.P. Wednesday

WIP Wednesday at Freshly PiecedWork in progress has been an effort this week....Between the showers here, I have been extremely busy working at lawns and flower gardens....but I did manage to FMQ the mitten baby, mind you it is not pretty, but it is finished....practice is suppose to make perfect. Well; we are not anywhere near there but it is still fun...and getting a little more comfortable....just have to keep plugging away at it,,,right????? I am about halfway through the hand quilting of the scrappy 4-patch quilt.

I still have 2 scrappy tops left to quilt eventually....but I will be focusing much more on things outside for a few months...flower gardens, vegetable garden...mowing lawns..I have a large yard to take care of...which I rally love doing. but with this rain; oh boy!!!!!!

Make sure you head over to Freshley Pieced and see what Lee is up to.

  1. I think the quilt is adorable! What baby wouldn't have fun with that!!

  2. It looks great! Keep plugging away on that FMQ, it will get better and better! : ) Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday.

  3. This quilt is extremely cute! I love it.

I've been working outdoors for about 2 months now, but the weather is getting hot, so I'm going to start working indoors on quilts.

  4. The little quilt looks really cute and fmq looking good to me.
Weather here so wet & windy, quite unseasonal.

  5. Being someone who doesn't know how to FMQ at all, I am pretty impressed by yours!

  6. Awesome quilt!! How did you get the mittens so puffy? Is it just poly batting?

  7. CAH-YOU-TE!!! yep...I too wonder how the mittens are looking so real and puffy...=)

  8. I cling on to listening to the news bulletin talk about getting free online grant applications so I have been looking around for the best site to get one. Could you tell me please, where could i find some?
