Work in progress has been an effort this week....Between the showers here, I have been extremely busy working at lawns and flower gardens....but I did manage to FMQ the mitten baby quilt..now, mind you it is not pretty, but it is finished....practice is suppose to make perfect. Well; we are not anywhere near there yet....lol. but it is still fun...and getting a little more comfortable....just have to keep plugging away at it,,,right?????...lol. I am about halfway through the hand quilting of the scrappy 4-patch quilt.
I still have 2 scrappy tops left to quilt eventually....but I will be focusing much more on things outside for a few months...flower gardens, vegetable garden...mowing lawns..I have a large yard to take care of...which I rally love doing. but with this rain; oh boy!!!!!!
Make sure you head over to Freshley Pieced and see what Lee is up to.
I think the quilt is adorable! What baby wouldn't have fun with that!!

ReplyDeleteWeather here so wet & windy, quite unseasonal.
