WIP Wednesday

Good morning folks!!  This has been a beautiful week; so far...cool with lots of sunshine.  I am loving it!  I think I did well this past week...I have finished hand quilting 'Intertwined'

I know; a lot of pictures...just have to bind it now.

I just put a king size Log Cabin in the frames to hand quilt for Christmas. No pics yet...I forgot..lol

This is a start on the 'Bluenose'..
Now; my good, good good friend Marla....who has a new machine put the name on here for me; thank you Marla!

I did my sample for The FMQ Challenge this month: Our instructor was Sarah Vedeler...you can go here to see the tutorial; which was a great one, and also see what others have linked up with. A huge thank you to Sarah and SewCalGal for this challenge.

I didn't find this one difficult...but I do need to mark an even grid next time.lol That might help with the sizes of the swirls...

I am linking up to Lee and Monika; come join the fun.

  17. What beautiful handquilting! How long did it take? I have a log cabin that I am basting and then I will machine quilt it simply....I am just a beginner. Love the Bluenose quilt, being from Nova Scotia, I am drawn to it. Have you already posted a set up of your frame for handquilting? I sure would like to see it!

  18. Beautiful quilt! I love all that handquilting. Once I've bought the batting and a quilt hoop (no money in the budget yet for a frame), I'll start handquilting my first quilt. I can't wait, and hopefully, with time, my quilting will look as good as yours
