Now for my contributions to this blog hop:
First; I came up with a cute little wall hanging....It's machine appliqued and FMQ. I have made this one before; a few years ago and just had to have another.

I hope you enjoyed the projects and are making your rounds to the other bloggers taking part today. Here is a list of blogs for your hopping.......

ReplyDeleteMarjorie, Congrats on a top 2 finish today - well deserved. I love the ornament hanging. I love the use of elegant golds. And the use of the unusual, leaves to me, is exquisite. Of course, the snowman family is adorable. Thanks for pointing out the reindeer in the background fabric. I have been a follower. I love your projects. I am always anxious to see what you are going to wow me with. With all the times I've looked at your blog, I had not noticed that you hand quilt and even do it for others. I have only hand quilted two baby quilts. I did it this year for my brother's twin grandchildren who were born last September. I wanted to make something special for my nephew's newest children. He asked for a crocheted blanket (and I am not a good at crocheting) for the first daughter. I had crocheted them a queen size throw for their bed and they wanted a matching one for her. So, I didn't give them a choice this time. I just hand quilted 1/4" inside each block. They are a girl and a boy and I used the same fabrics and made blocks and placed them differently. I collect Christmas fabric and started on a Christmas quilt a few years ago. I want each block to be the "background" fabric and a different Christmas fabric. I guess it's kind of a pin wheel design made from a purchased template. Thanks for participating and being a great inspiration. Again, congrats on fabulous projects and your top 2 finish.
ReplyDeletelove all your beautiful projects. i am a follower babscorbitt@gmail.com
