Boy; I am really wishing I had arranged these fabrics differently for this quilt...this is the first time I have put so many prints together like this...as a rule I would have a white background for all of these. But I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try something different...not liking it at all...lol.
Besides my planning; it is going well...this block is the string star..and it was very easy to do; though I don't like a string star ...if you look on my work website; you will see a very large one on there that I did..hated doing it!!! But at least it stands out..hahaha.
Anyway; enough griping; I put them together this way; don't like them, but it is done. So I'll live with it, right?????....Have fun putting yours together. And if it helps; I cut 3.5 inch strips for each triangle, and used the Tri Tool to flip and cut each one.
Without further ado...lol here is mine; if you can see the star...lol.

I can imagine it would stand out with a solid background a little better! I still am stuck on my block from Wednesday- have not had much free time at all! Oh well, I will get them done eventually!
ReplyDeleteYou may like them better once you get them all together ,it is a good chance to try new blocks and you are doing great work! That quilt looks gorgeous.
