Well this has been a very busy week for me. And most of it has been weeding flower gardens. But I did manage to do a bit of sewing. Last week I had started the commissioned quilt....just passed the 1/2 way mark with that one. On to the sneak peek from last week now. This first one is a set of silhouette pillows.
Next is a table runner pinned and ready to be FMQ.It's kind of a wonky nature thingy...next one is based on the same idea(but different).lol
Just finished the applique here. Last but not least......
This is a runner made from the postage stamp squares that Katie over at Katie's Salt Marsh sent me(just to be nice).
You now what is next; right?? Linking up to Lee and Monika to see what everyone is up to. Why don't you join us...really, it's fun. Now I am linking up with Colour Me Quilty
Love the pillows, Marjorie! I can't believe it...is it time to be thinking of Christmas stuff already?? Ha! Knowing myself, it's almost too late!
ReplyDeleteThe projects are lovely. I really love the postage stamp runner - I want to make the blocks but not so many as to be a whole quilt, thank you for this idea. Glad to hear you are out in the garden enjoying the spring too.
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely work going on Marjorie , love the postage stamp runner , so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteYour silouette work is so cool and I like how the postage stamp runner looks too. Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteLove the silouttes! Did you have a pattern for them or did you free hand them? They would be great for my sis a project.

ReplyDeleteI love the wolves!
ReplyDeleteWow on everything, especially the table runner's flower. A great idea for all my rescued 1 1/2" squares.
ReplyDeleteThose wolves and the moose are darling, Marjorie! I still remember driving through NB the summer before last at about 2 a.m. and seeing "Beware Moose" signs every km. I was so tired, but those signs freaked me out and totally kept me awake. LOL!
