On to WIPs.....I finished hand quilting the second Log Cabin quilt.
This quilt measures 105x125 inches....A glimpse of the back of the quilt..... these next quilts are the ones going in to be hand quilted in a couple of days.
This is a customers quilt for her grandson for Christmas
This one is another customer's quilt...all in Batiks....loving this!!
Besides these quilts to hand quilt; I have a cross stitched quilt to put together....I have the finished blocks. I will put sashings and a scalloped border on and hand quilt it.
I also have 2 scrappies, garden fence, texas teardrops, swoon, and the take five that my sewing group worked on last Saturday... tonight I will put the borders on it and add it to this pile to be quilted. I am really hoping to get time to machine quilt some of these ones on Tiara. Now that outdoor work is getting over; fingers are crossed to get to these.
And I am in on all the blog hops coming up ....love those things. I think I'm addicted!!!!!
I am linking up to Monika
You really have your work cut out for you. I guess your Tiara will cut down some of that time.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!! How cool is that? The log cabin quilt on top is EXACTLY like the one I made in 1992-3, except that the colors of the "diamonds" are switched around. The fabrics are even just about identical. Too much fun. What a pretty batik to get to work on. I'm impressed that you are such a fast hand quilter!
ReplyDeleteI see you are staying outta trouble with all these projects. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the colors in that batik quilt. I can't wait to see it quilted. The log cabin is a huge quilt. It looks so pretty with the quilting.
ReplyDeleteLots of amazing quilts to work on , great job on the log cabin quilt . Good luck with that extra long list , you are one busy lady :-)
ReplyDeleteyou have plenty to hand quilt, it must take quite a time to do but you mention you have to hand quilt some in the next 2 days, what speed you must have I can picture the needle flying through at amazing speed.
