Finally!!!! it is my day to show you what I did for this hop. This one has been a long time coming; since it was postponed. We've made it though...thanks to our Madame Samm and
Carol for this fantastic hop. They are fantastic ladies...not sure where they find the time, really...but glad they do.
First off; I bought my charm pack from Quilt Taffy...great girls there. I love this line; really much more than I thought I would. And so far; have seen lots of fantastic projects. So on with mine, right?
Here is my little sleuth bag; which I just love! I found the pattern here...pick a pocket purse. It is so simple to make and so cute.
See; I have my magnifying glass, note book, and little flashlight in the pockets. And that's just one side; the other side has 3 pockets too....go figure...lol
Just so you can see it without the clutter in the pockets. Check out this pattern...it is too easy!
I didn't take pictures of the lining...but it is all done in one step.
Next up is a swing bag........This is so cute for a young girl...the beaded fringe on the bottom...mmmmmm. A closeup; sure!
And last but not least....a pillow; you know I like pillows, right?
Now the back
Now the pin doesn't stay there..lol. This pillow form was a bit big for the cover. So for picture purposes...lol. And I had to use the one charm that was left.
Well that's it for me folks....I hope you enjoyed the projects. Now make sure you visit everyone on today's list....ok. thanks for stopping by.
Lol....you know I didn't forget the giveaway...right???? No way!!!! I have 2-1/2 yard cuts of fabric for you. For this one....you need to follow my blog. Please leave a comment telling me just that.
One is roosters....the other is Sunbonnet Sue; but right now she is upside down....lol....
Here is today's list: Tuesday, March 12, 2013

ReplyDeleteFirst, I was already a follower. Second, what great bags and pillow. You always come up with clever, clever projects. Third, I am working on needleturn Sunbonnet Sue blocks for a quilt. My original intent was to make Sunbonnet Sue and Overhaul Sam for my new twin great niece and nephew. I decided that I didn't want to do needleturn for babies. So, I make them different quilts. I still plan to make the quilts because I like them. It would be terrific to have a Sunbonnet Sue print in the quilt. Fourth, you are very creative and generous with your giveaway. Thanks for participating and inspiring all of us.
