WIPs: 2 scrapie's...which may always be waiting to quilt
I finished hand quilting this little one for a lady yesterday..
a close-up for you...cute little quilt.
I finished FMQ a couple of table toppers........
now a close-up...this is a different way of piecing the Cathedral Window block. This next one....is a kit from Connecting Threads...I love those guys!!!!
These both have straight stitching with the walking foot; and some FMQ on the outside edges.
This is the next to be FMQ.....again from Connecting Threads.
This is a pick a pocket bag that I made for myself with the same pattern from my Nancy Drew bag.
This is the next quilt to be hand quilted....put it in the frames last night. you can't see it yet....but at the top end of this lap size quilt; is a nice row of colorful Christmas stockings. I will show you when it is finished.
Now; besides these pieces. I have another table topper to FMQ, and lap size Disappearing 4patch to quilt....and I am about to start a bed size quilt from the Garden Fence patter I got from Connie at Free Motion by the River....check that out. I also have been commissioned to piece and hand quilt a Fishing Lodge Theme quilt by the folks who commissioned the 'Bluenose'....so I will be busy for quite some time.
Ooh, I like that way of doing Cathedral window. Great projects, Marjorie!

ReplyDeleteI do like your table runners. That's a great way to use the cathedral windows. Amazing the amount you get done :)
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lot going on there. I love those connecting threads patterns.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are keeping out of mischief! Good work!
ReplyDeleteyes, agreeing with elle, quiltmaking is a marvelous way to keep out of trouble, except when we head out to get more supplies and revert to using the credit card to pay for the fabric! Love the ease and simplicity of the 'new' cathedral windows.
ReplyDeleteYour busy corner is living up to its name! :-) I too love Connecting Threads -- and its sister company, Knit Picks. I have to be very judicious when I visit their websites or could get into serious trouble! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love the Winding Ways quilt -- that one is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do fantastic work, and a lot of it!
