We all know how wonderful and generous our Madame Samm is; right?? She does so much for us.....can you imagine how much spare time I would have if I didn't love her blog hops so very much?????? lol Thank you Madame!!! And we have to include our cheerleaders in there also;which leads me to Vickie for this one. Red Rooster and Bird Brain Designs are our wonderful sponsors for this round. Thank you to each of you...
I love getting ready for these, and this one was so much fun. I decided to make a table topper and placemats to match(sort of). For the placemats; I used my GoBaby die to make hens and eggs. The table topper had to be extra special; so I found my glorious rooster applique. He certainly is special in all his glory.
As my sewing buddy, Connie said "the head rooster wouldn't sit for us" so.....
Doesn't he just look in charge!!
Or maybe you prefer tea to the wine?????
Since it was such a nice morning; I got him away from those hens and took a stroll to the pond.
He graced my table which sits in the trees by the pond
Then last, but not least rested for a moment by the garage. isn't he the proudest bird!!!!
Well; I hope you liked my little family and I thank you for visiting.

ReplyDeleteSo cute. Congratulations on being a top pick of the day. The rooster goes beautifully with your pond furniture. I am curious as to what you have it draped over next to the pond. The base looks as though it might be a bird bath, but the way the topper drapes over it, it is a shape I have never seen before in a bird bath.
