We are having a fantastic pair of blog hops this week...hope you are joining in on these. The 'Black Tie' and our 'Blogathon Canada'.
Now on with WIPs: Last week I told you I was starting the hand quilting on the cross stitch quilt; well, it will be finished in a couple of days.
There isn't a lot of quilting to do on this one....the blocks are marked ahead of time....so quilts up quick.
This is a little peek at my 'Black Tie' piece coming up next week...my day is the 26th.
This is a table runner that myself and a sewing buddy are doing...this is mine; she'll show hers.
This is a Christmas piece we are working on too....an interesting project. I actually used my cording foot for the first time....lol. You know how you have these things and never take them out!!!
That is it for me this week folks; hope you enjoyed the post. I am linking up to Monika and Lee . Thank you for stopping by. I love my followers.
Beautiful work, Marjorie!
ReplyDeleteBusy girl hehe, all these projects are so lovely, each one of them!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas trees are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting on the embroidered blocks looks so pretty. I really like those trees. Where does the cording foot come in on them? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteLovely projects! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects, Marjorie.
ReplyDeleteLove the trees. The perspective is very cool.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cheery to sew with brights, especially in the winter.
ReplyDeleteLove the trees quilt
ReplyDeleteGreat projects Marjorie and your hand quilting continues to amaze me!!
ReplyDeleteYes the days and weeks surely are flying by! Looks like you are making good progress on many wonderful projects though. And you have your Christmas shopping done already? You are good! I am egg-cited to see your Black Tie contribution!
ReplyDeleteI always find Sunbonnet Sues just a tiny bit creepy, but these are really beautifully done. And your hand-quilting is just fantastic. (Myself, I've only done the intentionally giant hand-quilting style, which is fortunate because I couldn't get such a lovely little stitch even if I tried really, really hard.) (I know, practise. But ugh.)
ReplyDeleteLovely trees!
ReplyDeleteLovely works in progress - love those embroidered ladies! :)
ReplyDeleteGood stuff but I especially like the trees! I do believe I have a cording foot!!!
ReplyDeleteGosh Marjorie, you hand-quilt fast! Love those trees. I don't believe I have a cording foot for my machine! I must look!
