Free Motion Quilting Challenge/March
Another month and another pillow....I had lots of fun doing this one!! Quiltshopgal over here....http://quiltshopgal.com/ gave us 3 options again, and I chose #1, which was based on the 2012 FMQ Challenge by Patsy Thompson. so, here is my version for this month...based on borders( mainly).
This pillow is a satin fabric...quilted on my Tiara, using Signsture thread top and bottom. I quilted the flower in th Center, then some dense stippling. first border is squiggly lines...second border is a single feather spine...I used the Versa Tool for the straight lines of the borders.

Bird Tree Blog Hop
Hello folks!!! I am so very pleased to be here with this wonderful group today. I have been anxiously awaiting my day. I want to extend a huge thank you to Madame Samm...here, http://www.sewwequilt.com/2015/03/i-can-and-i-will-chalk-talk-with-us.html, and Lana...here,
I have a little stack of 5" squares for someone, and I may throw in a little pattern...see what I can come up with. I will randomly draw at the end of the blog hop.... Thank you!
Now....I get to show you what I made. I didn't buy the fabric line because I could sell fabric, I have so much! But it is an adorable line...I just love the tree panels I've seen. So, maybe later?????
I have 3 pieces for this hop...first up, This red Cardinal table topper...the Center fabric and the star points are Robert Kauffman(I believe)...been awhile since I checked. I made some of these before Christmas as well.
next is this table runner of the same fabric....
And the two of them...
And my very favorite of the projects....my quilt.
Now this was taken on the only snow surface I could climb in my back yard...lol
We just have too much snow for me to get to one of my benches...or even find that bench for a better picture...lol. I machine quilted it with cathedral window curves in all of the windows. I meandered between the windows, and the borders are done with swirls on the print...figure eights in the rust borders and little loopy lines in the white....you may be able to see it some, I hope.
The center of this quilt is a panel of winter scenes that I just loved... With the little red birds. the border print fabric is called 'Oh Canada' by Stonehenge. I used this line back a few months when I made the gift quilt for the RCMP detachment in Moncton.
I am calling this quilt 'Canadian, eh'. I really hope you enjoyed the visit my friends!!! Please stop by the rest of the blogs. Here is your schedule for today, and below that...there just might be a giveaway!!!!

Hi everyone....we are here again and no major snow storms in the past week!!!!
My WIPs this week.....hmmmmm, I am just about finished hand quilting this one.
Just the border left to quilt, then binding.
Next is the appliqué quilt that I showed a little of last week...this is only half the quilt, I couldnt stand back far enough in the room to get the whole thing, but it is something else!!
Last week I showed you s few rows ready to put together. Well, here is the quilt top now...this is the size of the pattern. I am going to add a couple of borders to this yet. This is Bella....
