Fun Today

Well was a nice day today; my youngest son and his son came to visit. We went snowshoeing for a bit.

Mason is 41/2 years old..his first time on them and he did wonderful.!!! Here he is with Daddy and Grampy.

Saturday Afternoons

W.I.P Wednesday

Can't believe a week has gone by.......and I have accumulated more work!! But; you know; I love it...lol
Well I have the tshirt quilt pieced...have the little sunbonnet sue in the frames and going across the center of it now...but yesterday I picked up another commissioned quilt to do....this is all cross stitched blocks..she did those; I will put the top together and hand quilt it for her..I haven't even looked at the blocks as of yet...lol.

Playing Around Today

It is a very cold, but sunny day today....so; I went for a little hike on my snowshoes...took a few pictures

and I am playing around with some photo software site...see which I end up liking.....

After the Storm..

Well it was nasty while it lasted; but didn't accumulate a lot. And today is bright and sunny but cold with that wind.  I just finished shoveling walk ways and hubby is ploughing the driveway.....I do it when he is at work.

Here's what we look like now.....a crisp morning....probably go out snowshoeing a bit later....have a great weekend.

Stained glass runner

This is a stained glass table runner I did on the seger yesterday....I keep finding these things while cleaning.....not sure how well you can see it; a bit dark....but the black stitching is done with crochet cotton which has a bit of gold metalic in it...

Back in the saddle

LOL....I am so thrilled to be back at the sewing and quilting. I had a lady bring me a quilt to handquilt for here yesterday.  Setting it up today....plus I finished a table runner that had been hiding on me....lol.  Here it is.....and Emily from Creative Chicks; if you are reading this...I couldn't access your profile to get back to you..sorry.   But any info I can give you is great with me.....the main thing is to stabilize your tshirts before cutting them out....so they won;t stretch. The rest is a sinch.....really. I thank all of you for your nice comments; sorry I don't get back to all of you...some days I just have time to read and I'm gone again...thank you.
