Should have been WIP...lol

Well, I planned on this for yesterday, but just didn't get to it.  Right now I am at this point with things....

I finished hand quilting this Dresden Plate for a customer:

It is a large queen...I am now hand quilting this customer quilt:

Double bed size....I am in one row of blocks.  I have the photo quilt finished and bound, but will wait for permission to show it.  I am working on the piece for the Halloween blog hop ..starting Oct. 16, my day! There will be giveaways......I am finishing up my FMQ Challenge pillow, or trying anyway.

A group of us got together on Tuesday to sew and chat!!!!  i started my do- nut quilt...no pics yet.

I think that is it for right now, folks.  Lots going on all the time, just can't show you all of it yet.

I received a couple of recent wins in the mail, which I am thankful for.  Thanks going out to Quilters

Gardening is done, except for my potatoes....a couple of weeks probably will see those in too.

my Works in Progress are:  This one is In the frames being hand quilted...just past the Center.

I really like the black and white...customer quilt.  I finished this one that I showed you in my last post.

I am working on a gift for a friend, which I can't show for a couple of weeks. But I will!

I am also working on an Anniversary quilt...I think I mentioned it before. A photo memory for their first wedding anniversary.  But I won't be showing this, as it is so personal, and don't have permission yet.

It is throw size with lovely 8x11 coloured photos. I am just about ready to machine quilt it.

I have two more customer quilts to be hand quilted, and another one coming soon. I have two of my own from last year to quilt, and two patch work quilts from way back to be quilted.  One of these days!!!!!

I have joined the 100 club at our local quilt shop again this year. We are making a disappearing nine patch this time. This is done on a monthly basis...always interesting. This is it here....

We are using the Whitewashed Cottage line for this quilt.  Well, that's it for me this time...enjoy your week folks!

This morning, I delivered this quilt to its owner...all hand quilted. I do at least one every summer for this lady.

I have a couple of quilts travelling this summer...one of mine went to France and one went to Austria this past weekend.  So nice to meet these folks!

FMQ Challenge/ August 2015

Well....we are nearing the end of August already, and I have spent most of it in the garden.  This months challenge was left so long that I am lacking in imagination.  But, I did it...lol!!!! 

This month, we had Angela Walters as our professional...she is just sweet!  Now, we had options again, and I chose the option of Angela's Dot to Dot Quilting class which I took on line.  This is a very basic example of the class in whole, and you could add so much more fillers here.

WIP Wednesday

Hello again, I missed last week because I am slow at quilting right now....gardening. Today, I completely played myself out!!!! I love harvesting the garden, but did too much this time...lol  But relaxing now!!!!

I now have 48 pints of beans frozen, and today I froze 20 pints of peas...which took much more work than the beans did. And I have 20 pints of beets pickled. Our garden is fantastic again this year.

Ok....enough about my tired limbs...lol

Right now I am working on hand quilting a customer quilt...

I just liked it so much...I have 2 customers quilts waiting to be hand quilted, and a few more people thinking about orders. So, I could be very busy...fingers crossed...lol.

Post Holiday Weekend/ WIP Wednesday

' Well, I think this New Brunswick Day weekend was the best!!!  We had perfect weather for whatever you wanted to do'!! Now it was hot, but no complaining...summer is short.

We spent time in the garden, lazing around home and cruising in the convertible...perfect!!!

Last week was productive for me ...I finished hand quilting this quilt, called 'Prints on Point'.

This was a kit from Connecting Threads.

I also finished machine quilting this yellow and gray quilt for a customer.  This picture is the back of the quilt. I will post better pics after I bind it.

This is in the dark, which shows the quilting more...I did some meandering, and some figure eights.

I have three customer quilts to hand quilt right now and one on the way to machine quilt. Mine are waiting again....lol, which is good!!!!!

Well.....back outside. I waxed the Solstice, now I need to go back out and buff it!!!
