Fabric Shops

I am so tired of the few fabric shops we have in our area...the ones we have are very nice..good fabric...but not enough of them..no competitive pricing anymore.....

Oh well; what to do ......It is a beautiful day today..sunny and warm.....was in the city all morning running errands...checking out the fabric......love it....just miss the shops that have closed down lately. Anyway; off to find a new project to start.....I love to finish one; but then the dilemma.....ok; what's next??? I have to be kept busy.....a sin; really....lol

Quilt top finished!!!!!

The Tree/House quilt top is complete...quilting will be done after Christmas.....I had fun doing this pattern again..very simple; but back to basics; I guess...Here is a pic...now staying away from fall colours for awhile..though I am an earthy person.....lol.

End of the weekend

It is Sunday  night....got the Christmas lights up today....was a crisp but nice day....got snow last night...so; glad to have finished up everything...visited my grandsons this afternoon....too cute...lol. Back to sewing tomorrow...yeahhhhhhhhhh..lol

Saturday

WEll is the morning where I help hubby outside....getting the yard and things ready for snow...it is a nice sunny, crisp morning.  in now to have a tea..and back at it....hae a nice weekend

Friday..at last

Good morning....I am so glad to see Friday here....not sure why; I work harder on the weekends with my husband. lol....but it is fun having him home with me...doing things around the yard before winter really sets in.  I took a pic of a few of my quilt blocks so you could see them before it's put together...you know; it has been years since I made this pattern...so simple, but fun to go back to also.  Well; here goes.............

My sewing

Hello everyone...I am coming right along with the little house blocks..have 8 or 9 done...will take a pic soon.
It is fun doing them..something I haven't looked at in ages...most of our snow melted..which is good for driving anyway....ok; just got home; had my father-in-law out for a drive....so; back to the sewing room for me....ttys

Tea

Having my morning tea and trying to think of something to tell..this daily challenge is difficult..I just wish I was sewing every day.  Would be easier..I am starting to make mittens for my little ones...so; we'll see how that goes...not much to see though.lol........getting snow tires put on car this afternoon....not news worthy....lol.

Ohhhhhh almost forgot...I started a new quilt top yesterday...tree/house...my husband made this pattern up for me years ago.  I haven't pieced one in ages...so; I will take a pic of the block or two when ready and post that....there we go!!! sewing...........
